Before soft drinks, our founder Mr. Lachhman Dass Ladhani was an 'A' class civil construction contractor, building roads, bridges and townships across West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh — including the celebrated Ram Ki Paidi on the banks of the Saryu in Ayodhya, designed on the pattern of Haridwar's Har Ki Pauri.
In 1982 he took on a challenging new venture: manufacturing Thums Up, Limca, Gold Spot and Bisleri Club Soda as a franchisee of Parle Export Private Limited. Production was up and running in record time and by 1985 the franchisee — Amrit Bottlers Private Limited — recorded the highest growth in India.
When The Coca-Cola Company took over the Parle brands, Mr. Ladhani transformed the mechanised plant into a fully automatic, computerised facility. Today it has the largest production capacity and the highest sales in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
As an 'A' class civil contractor, Mr. L. D. Ladhani builds roads, bridges and townships across West Bengal, Bihar and UP — including Ram Ki Paidi, Ayodhya, the ITI Mankapur township, and bricks for the entire Bharat Coking Coal township.
Manufacturing of Thums Up, Limca, Gold Spot and Bisleri Club Soda begins at Faizabad as a franchisee of Parle Export Private Limited.
The franchisee company is incorporated as Amrit Bottlers Private Limited — the flagship of the Ladhani Group.
Within a short span of commencing production, Amrit Bottlers achieves the highest growth among franchisees in the whole of India.
The Coca-Cola Company returns to India and takes over the Parle brands. Amrit Bottlers becomes a Coca-Cola bottler and converts its mechanised plant into a fully automatic, computerised facility.
The Group opens Riverside Mall in Lucknow, home to INOX and Big Bazaar.
Unit-2 is commissioned to manufacture CSD PET preforms on a German KraussMaffei machine with Italian MHT tooling — an authorised preform supplier to Coca-Cola and its franchisees. The same year, we celebrate "20 Years of Happiness in India".
Avadh Projects completes a 125-room four-star hotel in Lucknow, managed by Hilton.
